Carla Costanzi, sociologist. In her professional activity, the predominant focus has been ageing and the living conditions of older adults; many of her publications (more than seventy in total) address old age, its critical aspects, but also its potential to be enhanced and the organisational responses that can be implemented to address it effectively. She has participated in numerous European projects, both as a partner and as an expert and advisor. Since 2008, she has also worked as a project evaluator for the European Commission. As an adjunct lecturer, she first taught at the University of Genoa and subsequently for 14 years at the Catholic University of Milan.
