Fabio Petito

 

Fabio Petito is Head of the ISPI Programme on “Religions and International Relations” of ISPI supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
He teaches International Relations at the University of Sussex where he leads the Freedom of Religion or Belief and Foreign Policy Initiative. He is also and member of the OSCE/ODIHR Panel of Experts on Freedom of Religion or Belief. His publications include Religion in International Relations (2003), Civilizational Dialogue and World Order (2009) and Towards a Postsecular International Politics (2014). Among his articles “An Italian foreign policy of religious engagement: challenges and prospects”, in The International Spectator (with P. Ferrara, 2016).
