Wilma G. Stark

 

Wilma G Stark is a writer/translator for theatre. She was in her former life a radiographer for twenty-five years. After diagnosis of a neuro-muscular condition she went back to University to study languages, graduating with an MA, University of Glasgow, 2004, and parallel to this began writing.
She was Writer of the Year, North Lanarkshire, 1999, and has worked on several projects within the North Lanarkshire Region, including the Writer in the Travel and Tales project, resulting in an exhibition in Summerlee Heritage Centre, Coatbridge, now on permanent display in Chapelside Community Centre, Airdrie.
